Elder Cal Robertson's Mission

Hello from the  Philippines It's been a good week. I gotta do some tie trading and ping pong. We also got raided last night by kids with toilet paper-they came in and just started bombing our room. Then they started ding dong ditching people with it. I learned this week that pigs can read, and that their communists. So watch out if your pigs are reading books and don't let them be in charge of government and stuff like that.  I'm in choir practice right now so this email might be a lil shorter. We ate some lunch today at this gucci restaurant today that was way overpriced. Our roommates are still super fun to hang out with and I'll definitely miss them and my companion Elder Steadman, he's definitely my most favorite-ist companion I've ever had. I'll miss the ice cream too. I hope I see a monkey in the field too, that'd be pretty sick. Hi yall, This past week has been a blast and has basically been the same still here every week. There's definitely been a couple highlights tho. Elder Steadman is cool. He's my companion which is pretty sickkk. And we also got new roommates which has been actually really fun. The first night they were with us they told us a bunch of scary stories and superstitions that they've had in the Philippines and experiences with them. One of the stories was about how our roommate a couple years a ago said he and hi family saw a white dress lady with long black hair standing at their front porch at night, they first thought it was their grandma but then when they saw it wasn't her the lady walked slowly to their backyard and then.. BOO! Gotcha there didn't I, gives me the Himmy Jimmy's just writing it. The other roommate said at night he and his friends took a selfie in an alleyway and later when they looked at it there were 2 extra dudes in the photo, they were skinny gu...

Alooooohaaa.  This week has been great, and I can now say a full prayer in Cebuano or at least opening, say what I'm thankful for, and then close. I can say "please bless..." on a good day. So yk I'm practically fluent by now. I have 2 weeks lefts which pretty crazy. Imma be glad to have a Filipino companion but also I think imma miss having an American one too.  We had these prayers on our floor of our dorm building and what we all did was cram into one room and then someone gave a prayer as a farewell prayer which was pretty cool, you could just feel that energy of love just flowing through the room yk. And we did that twice.  Then another time the choir director said she could hear us at night because her room is below ours, so that night we decided to get every Elder we could find and cram into one room again and sing the song as loud as possible that she gave us, I thought that was just spectacular. Hii guys it's cal here back with another email This last week was our last week of gospel lessons and we just started language yesterday. Its been perty hard but its nice not having to practice teaching people all the time in a classroom, I'd rather do it in person. The foods been really good which Is something I'm definitely looking forward to in the field.  We had chicken Feet this week which was good. Not really they were gross. They told us to deglove the fingers to to eat them but a finger got ripped off when I pulled the hand out of my mouth so that was icky. When I spit it out I was showing my zone leader it and not knowing it was in my mouth, he grabbed it and put it in his own and proceeded to eat all the meat on it. Then I told him it was in my mouth so he got up and chugged 3 cups of water or something, he almost threw up. And so did I, those soggy chicken grippers were creepy man, or women or whoever's reading this.  I bought some rations that will hopefully...
