Week 62

maajong Buntag ngadto sa bunjag ! ug babaje sija! Hey Everyone! We had an awesome week! We went on exchanges with some Elders and were able to help them and build their faith as well. One was struggling with disobedience to the mission rules and I thought what if I only try to help and love him and just get to know his personality, and he was awesome! Sometimes people may do things we don't like or are wrong but they are all children of God, and he was heading on the right direction.  No one is perfect, that's why it is more important than ever to help each other up and share the light of Christ with everyone, not even think about their wrongs, but have Charity.  This week we were also able to have a baptism for a part member and now they are taking temple prep class! Then we had family week which was great and fun, hope you guys have one too soon!   We've had some great food here too. Try eggs, tomatoes, garlic, onion and soy sauce, mm mm mmmmm. kalami diyan....

last last week and last week :)) Hello everybody, this week great. Sorry no email last week. But I got one now so I hope u like it.  We got transferred and were able to make a lot of new friends these past 2 weeks. We were able to help with the Church and ward members and were able to become friends and they committed to help us in many great ways!  I was able to sing in the stake choir here! It was awesome! We were able to help many people and have been able to feel a lot of Joy from the work. A scripture we have been thinking of is D&C 58:26-28. We were able to attend some activities as well such as badminton and FHEs. Hope everyone is doing well and I'll see y'all next week:) Updates from Elder Robertson! Week 60

Highlights: In a new area still with Elder Terminez, whitewashed the area, still in same town, but in the 2nd Ward.  The past Elders were really dirty and left the apartment messy/filthy.  Got about $4 U.S. dollars from them (but in Filipino pesos) to buy cleaning supplies to clean the apartment.  The old Elders didn't even have a broom. They also didn't leave money for water and utilities, which they are supposed to do. Cleaned for the sisters that moved into their apartment. Transfers were really busy. Looking forward to teaching. In a bike area.  Live by a really nice house now.  Some pictures and also of the apartment.

Nakasakay ko og usa ka sakyanan nga makalupad, nagsaka mi sa kawanangan hangtud migawas mi sa kalibutan, nakakita mi sa inyo tanan! Pero dili mo natubag sa amo. [ I rode a car that could fly, we went up in space until we left the world, we saw all of you! But you did not answer the boss.] Hello everybody! The work this week has been super great! Im getting transferred! Yippy, kinda... I wanna stay here in Ipil but we'll be in the next ward over. We're whitewashing, or starting from scratch kinda. Kicking everybody out and comin' in. It'll be good tho because I get to stay with my companion, Elder Terminez for 1 more cycle! First time for me to stay 2 cycles with a companion! And he has lots of experience whitewashing. So were gonna do great! Especially because the Lord will help us and we'll be guided by the spirit. And as our Prophet, Russell M Nelson, reminded us that angels will really be with us, to bear us up during our trials, especially our effort! The Lord l...

Week 58

Sige na, ilabog nalang This week has been good. We got to teach and help this lady and she will be baptized this month! We had a district activity earlier as well which was fun and got to play some games. I might get transferred this cycle as well to an area that shares the same ward as us. Like me being in 1st ward and transferring to 2nd.  We got to meet some awesome people and also teach a lot of people. This Sunday we got a warning on our phone that it was red rainfall, which in the mission means we're not supposed to go outside. So before any rain could hit we got out the door and went to church 2 hours early. There ended up not being that much rain which was nice. Really just sprinkling the whole day so we got to work.  I'm exited to see what happens this next cycle and to work as much as we can this week especially because we're probably getting white washed for sisters. [Meaning sisters will replace us.] We're also training in the next zone conference this wee...
