There's so much that happened this week but it feels like my last pday was 2 days ago! Weeks are really starting to pick up and I've already been in the Philippines for over 2 months! Which is pretty wild! I'll give a little share and tell today. I would do a show and tell but I can't really show you, so just use your imagination ig. Here there's no toilet paper so you use a bucket of water to pour down ur back, and then use your hand if you want. I don't use my hand tho, I just trust the bucket.  Also there's chicken fights and I was really close to watching one but we had to leave. Howdy everybody! This week has been really good and nuthing really out of the ordinary except the herds of wild dogs here and the naked dudes standing on the street and other little things that are a little different. Like half the time I'm not sure what I'm eating. I actually got sick from eating this street food soup. It was some of the best soup I've ever had but the next day it hit me bad. I've also had some of the best soft serve ice cream here.  I'm learning really helpful skills tho too out here, like guitar and how to do tricks with a butterfly knife. I bought a shirt today. And taught people this week. It's still weird being stared at everywhere I go. A little bird told me that some Staunton Ward people read these, so hello from the other side ig. Apparently  I jumped the gun last week and said it was week 8.  But This week is actually week 8. My fault guys I know I'm in the future but not that far. This is the first full week I think.  I ate balut this week from this dude on the side of the street. Just search it up cuz explaining wont do it justice. The kids here r fun and always want fist bumps. This one kid made this spitball launcher out bamboo and tape. It works kinda like those one pump tube shaped water guns. Anyways he let me try it and then I snapped it in half when I tried, pastilan. I felt so bad. Then I saw him another day after that and we're like homies now so it's all good.  My comp is fun, Elder Zaragoza. He reminds of a Filipino version of Mario. I have a little photo of him at my study desk, so whenever I need some inspiration I just look at the photo of his face. We got hair cuts today which was fun. First Week in the Field! Hello from the Philippines! It's definitely been a long couple days and probably sweat more these past 3 days then I did in a year back home. I already love the people here tho! Just wish I could talk to them, which will take time. Even with the MTC, we learned Cebuano for 6 weeks but here they all speak Waray-Waray.  The kids here are fun. The ward is really nice. The apartment is pretty sweet, the elders here say it's the nicest missionary apartment in the mission, I guess I'm being spoiled a bit. My companion is super chill and fun. He's great at helping me with the language so far! We have a rat too that chewed through one of our cables for our rice cooker, ya so we're gonna catch him and fry 'em up nice and good. Mm mm mm.  There's also ants everywhere a couple of them lil stinkers were actually crawling on me as I wrote this and I've probably ate a bunch without knowing by now.
