Elder Cal Robertson's Mission

Morning guys, this week has been amazing mostly cuz we've started to see things pick up. We've been eating good and workin hard. The girl, Champagne, has really progressed I think. We invited her to be baptized and she said yes, but felt like she wasn't completely sure, so of course we invited her to pray about the message we shared, and told her that she would receive an answer by the Holy Spirit. The next morning we followed up with her and this was her response. "After I prayed I feel a sense of calmness and inner peace that's unlike anything else, that gives me a sense of comfort and guidance that I can't really explain."  I won't share all of what she said because it was pretty spiritual, but as we see the Lord answers all our prayers if we are humble and willing to receive His answer and not Our answer! If we want our answer then we won't be able to hear the answer of the Lord. This is what is amazing too--that we can put off our Natural man....

MagTrainer Whats good in the neighbourhood my Virginians. This week has been not what I expected. Dun dun dunnn. Welp. Elder Fruean transferred, and he left me here to train. Or so I thought until I arrived in my 2nd homeland, Tacloban City. And the second I got off the van President talked to me and told me my comp was delayed.. bru. I didn't think my transfer board pic was that scary. But it's all good. To make it even better actually later AP Hillman told me that he was "indefinitely delayed" at this point. I was pretty depressed. Pres also told me I had to go back to Sogod and be in a trio. So I did the only thing a good missionary would do to face my sadness. Gobble down McDonald's, KFC, and Spinners ice cream. Ig I cant say I felt better afterwards cuz I was medyo broke. But it was ok because the Ah Wongs paid for my ride home; and not because I was broke, they paid for everyone:)  But yeah, now I'm here in Sogod in a companionship with the ZL and anothe...
