Wala koy kotche. Bisikleta ra. Español ba gihapon ang pulong, puso? Mga kaigsoonan sa pananampalataya. Ug mga pamilya. Excited for this week where we will be going to Tacloban for zone conference Thursday. And Wednesday, the day before, we will have an activity with the Humok family, with Brother Humok, at 7 pm behind their house. We will be catching shrimps for his fishing bait the next morning. I am very grateful for even just the privilege to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many people in the world give 1st class devotion to a 2nd class cause. How fortunate in this sense that we can give 1st class devotion to a first class cause. As I have witnessed here many people make many different choices. I look closer and closer at myself and wonder what more is there to be done that I can fulfill my divine identity as God's Son? Just as a prince fulfills the role of his father as king. I am continually striving to follow the council of our prophet, Russell...

Ang mabuting pastol. Modawat ba mo siya sa imong tibuok kalag   Hi Friends! I guess the homecoming talk will be Sunday July 13. Invite your friends to come worship Christ with us! This week was amazing as we met many people and were able go interview 2 people for baptism. It was a great experience to see these people ready to be baptized into Jesus Christ's living church. I remember thinking before what a bold statement to say 'The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only Church on Earth that is Christ's true church, His Church, and is guided directly by Jesus Christ Himself.' This would be very extreme even blasphemy, IF it wasn't true... But it is true! Christ said I came unto my own and my own received me not.  As we see even today some people reject Jesus Christ. But many just receive a portion. Just a sliver even, of Christ and His Gospel. What a blessing it is to be a part of Christ's Church. We know His plan and where we came from: why are ...

Mga kaigsoonan! Unsa kadugay? Hello family and everyone! How  everyone doing?! We were blessed to see the Humok family attend church! We have been working hard and have been trying many different ways to accomplish the Lord’s work here. I love what it says in 1 Nephi 22:26... 26 And because of the righteousness of his people, Satan has no power; wherefore, he cannot be loosed for the space of many years; for he hath no power over the hearts of the people, for they dwell in righteousness, and the Holy One of Israel reigneth. Because of their righteousness Satan will have no power, and it says the people will grow up as calves in a stall. This is talking about the millennium I think, but he says not because of the situation the people are in or even the time. There is no magical forcefield blocking us from Satan. He says because of their righteousness! What a blessing we can be completely safe from Satan's power as we are righteous! As we do the righteous things in the world we will ...

I can go the distance Hi family! How's life in your places? We had zone conference this past week and everyone got personal cell phones. Which doesn't actually really make a difference besides that we have 2 phones now, so we can study better which is awesome!  We were led by the spirit not knowing where we should go, but we found so many great people. At one time an older women that we never met before came to us and asked for a Book of Mormon! We just gave our last one and set an appointment for this next Tuesday!  I was listening to a song from the movie, Hercules. In the song "I can go the distance" it says, "when I go the distance I'll be right where I belong". Great inspiration. I was thinking about this earlier and I realized that when we "go the distance" we really do end up where we belong.  But also I had a thought that in this life, we will never achieve our complete goal or reach the final destination. So where do we belong on earth...
