Elder Cal Robertson's Mission

So Sogod Hi guys sorry I missed the email drop last week. This week we went to Masin City, Leyte and did exchanges but I ended up just coming back here but it was fun to go somewhere. We also had a booth thing in the city center here and it was good. A lot of the youth were going around and getting people to see the the booth. Even sister Champagne showed up, which was awesome, a missionary already!  Then the next day we invited a bunch of people to church and then on Domingo there were fewer people than last week, that was a bummer for sure. But we'll help people more this week with church.  I also got called that I'm going to be a trainer! Yippy. Now I'm kinda nervous again but at least I wont be alone:)  We had this cool FHE last night and we all went around talking about our favorite childhood memories, then we talked about our thoughts on it. -Lots of friends at church -19 year-old I'm teaching, her dad was drunk across the street, throwing stuff and yelling -Great zone conference, transfers coming up -Ate squid with ink in it, mouth turned black -Don't put food away in the fridge, ants will get in it right away -Peanut butter on top of fridge isn't being used because I stuck something in the peanut butter that I used in a rat trap -Wash whites at home...let them soak in a shallow, large bowl. Then put them in the washing machine with some soap that rinses and spins.  Then in the dryer that just spins. Then hang up clothes to dry.  Rest of clothes bring to someone who washes them.   

Hey guys, your friendly neighborhood Elder Robertson here.  This week we did a lot of things like baptize someone and do EQ raids. Yesterday actually. Basically the whole elders quorum met up at the church to meet and then split up and do ministering. Except we decide to go full force so we basically went around in this guy's van to peoples houses and then unloaded and raided their house. We looked like a little army it was awesome.  We got to also eat at a couple members houses this week which is always fun.  What I've learned this week I think is that we can ask the Lord. The reason we have all the knowledge about the gospel that we have is because of people who have asked. Remember that your Father wants your questions to be answered, He doesn't want you to be aimlessly going through life, just like our parents on earth! But if you never ask your parents a question, if you never ask for help, they can't!  Remember to turn to Lord always through your blessings and ...
