Week 36

So Sogod

Hi guys sorry I missed the email drop last week. This week we went to Masin City, Leyte and did exchanges but I ended up just coming back here but it was fun to go somewhere. We also had a booth thing in the city center here and it was good. A lot of the youth were going around and getting people to see the the booth. Even sister Champagne showed up, which was awesome, a missionary already! 

Then the next day we invited a bunch of people to church and then on Domingo there were fewer people than last week, that was a bummer for sure. But we'll help people more this week with church. 

I also got called that I'm going to be a trainer! Yippy. Now I'm kinda nervous again but at least I wont be alone:) 

We had this cool FHE last night and we all went around talking about our favorite childhood memories, then we talked about our thoughts on it. I realized that the happiness that everyone felt from their favorite memories is the same happiness that we can feel after this life if we follow Christ and His teachings. I think this is a reason God wants us to learn and know him so we will better understand His love and His commandments for us so we can feel His joy here on Earth always! 

Just got the transfer board while writing this and Sogod B (Elder Phillips and Dacanay) are transferring, or whitewashing. So that's depressing, but it'll be a good growing experience just like everyday in the mission! Love you guys and remember to always do the things that will bring you the everlasting joy!
