Psylo gihap sa iba nga lengwahe yana kase nappractice ko sa akon lenggwahe para magin malisto sa mga lenguahe dd sa pilipinas!  I think the best thing I heard this week was our Stake President saying "praise the Lord, Hallelujah!" and "buang sa imong mata" in response to my questions. Haha. Pero yan, this week has been awesome. We were able to accomplish some important things and also help 2 friends from Trojillo enter the waters of Baptism and then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Juana Biado and Emeteria Diano:)  Verse 5: "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." John 3:5 They...

Week 52

Wow---been out ONE YEAR! Still waiting for people to receive their birth certificates and other documents to they can get married. Became really sick Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon--throwing up. On splits/exchanges that day.  About 2pm went out with the visiting Elder to the furthest point in area. Had some good lessons.  Came back wiped out, but felt better that evening. Had soda and bread as a snack last week, but ate the bread...didn't dip it into the lemon lime soda.  Traveling to Catarman for District Meeting on pday, then will do some shopping, and hang out with a district for pday activities.

Week 51

It's raining in Manila (and Bobon) Maupay na kulop everybody! Just waiting here for a haircut. Then after we're gonna go home and clean the apartment. This morning we went to the beach for the first time in the sunlight. And it's actually a lot dirtier than I thought, but that's okay I'm never coming back in the day, just night.  We went to Trojillo this week and taught some people there, and are still trying to get their birth records ahhhhhh (so they can get married).  We also went on exchanges in Allen and San Isidro. It's been fun. We've been pretty productive this week and are still trying to improve. I was studying the Come Follow Me about Ammon and his friends converting a bunch of lamanites. The people truly were converted saying "they never did fall away". They didn't just join a group or church, or become better people, they were converted to Christ. It was a full change of heart to Him, becoming one with Jesus Christ (Becoming One wi...

Week 50

°○●°•●•Pagtuo kay JesuKristo °°•●•°●○•• Pasaylo guys, this time will medyo just be spiritual things:) Haha just realized too that 'medyo' is a Filipino word. I said it earlier in a conversation with my dad, but didn't realize it wasn't English until I wrote it and realized I've never typed this word in my life.. but.  This week has been full of miracles and my testimony has visibly grown. But not because of the miracles themselves, but because of my faith in Jesus Christ. I've been pondering about this aspect the past couple days especially in our Zone Conference yesterday!  It all started one sunny day at Zone Conference, when our mission president, President Martinez, brought up a scripture verse from the epistles in the New Testament, where they talk about if you have faith as small as a mustard seed you will be able to move a mountain. When we read The Book of Mormon we read that the brother of Jared moved literal mountains. But I have pondered, why do we no...

Week 49

Mata Hello everybody, sorry I forgot write an email last week. I've been super busy! These past 2 weeks there was transfers and my new Companion Elder Valencia has been great. We're really trying to do all we can to progress this area and ourselves as missionaries. Plus help the zone here as much as possible, I feel like its a neverending amount of things to do and things to prepare and people to coordinate with. But taking things one step at a time is something I've been working on so my brain doesnt explode. My language has been improving a lot which has been a great blessing to me. Later we have an FHE with the zone. And a zone Council Meeting the next day. I keep reading this scripture that Ive been thinking back to a lot. Moroni 9:6. Its one of my favorites and really helps give me energy to continue, push forward with faith in christ. "6 And now, my beloved son, notwithstanding their hardness, let us labor diligently; for if we should cease to labor, we should be...
