Week 50

°○●°•●•Pagtuo kay JesuKristo °°•●•°●○••

Pasaylo guys, this time will medyo just be spiritual things:) Haha just realized too that 'medyo' is a Filipino word. I said it earlier in a conversation with my dad, but didn't realize it wasn't English until I wrote it and realized I've never typed this word in my life.. but.
This week has been full of miracles and my testimony has visibly grown. But not because of the miracles themselves, but because of my faith in Jesus Christ. I've been pondering about this aspect the past couple days especially in our Zone Conference yesterday!
It all started one sunny day at Zone Conference, when our mission president, President Martinez, brought up a scripture verse from the epistles in the New Testament, where they talk about if you have faith as small as a mustard seed you will be able to move a mountain. When we read The Book of Mormon we read that the brother of Jared moved literal mountains. But I have pondered, why do we not move mountains. If my faith can be so small as to what it says, I should be able to move anything, really limitless possibilities.
But the true doctrine is not just faith, faith in things, people, or faith that the mountain will move, but faith in Jesus Christ. So, you have faith in Christ? Why are you not moving literal mountains? The truth is if we have faith in Jesus Christ we are aligned with Him, His will. As He said, be One with Him. So it's literally possible to do anything with God on your side, but only according to His will, His plan and true purpose. Becoming one with Christ doesn't mean we can do all, it means we do all we can. This is faith is Jesus Christ, acting in faith for every possible decision in your life. Then as we do all we can, miracles come. Even then Laman and Lemuel saw an angel, felt the power of God, not to mention they grew up with a Prophet of God and undoubtedly saw countless miracles. So what happened there? They had no faith. They didn't act on anything they Experienced.
That brings me back to the start. Act on your experiences. Let them change you to grow your faith in Jesus Christ. So ya, if you couldn't guess our topic at Zone Conference was faith in Jesus Christ, or really helping our Interested Friends to build faith in Jesus Christ. We went to PSA [Philippine Statistics Authority] earlier to get our interested friends papers for birth records for marriage so they can take the first step on the Lord's Covenant path through Baptism:).
Find opportunities to show the Lord you Love Him, and I promise you will feel His love. We're going to the beach later too! One of my favorite places mostly because I can really relax. Here beaches aren't crazy. It's also a giant white sand beach like popular ones in the states, but better, and no people, and no lights. At night you can see all the stars and just sit with a little fire going, karasaaa. Anyways, love you guys! Kitakits sa sunod, ngan unta pikas na semana pero diko sureee haha. Sige hinay kam.
