Week 61
last last week and last week :))
Hello everybody, this week great. Sorry no email last week. But I got one now so I hope u like it.
We got transferred and were able to make a lot of new friends these past 2 weeks. We were able to help with the Church and ward members and were able to become friends and they committed to help us in many great ways!
I was able to sing in the stake choir here! It was awesome! We were able to help many people and have been able to feel a lot of Joy from the work. A scripture we have been thinking of is D&C 58:26-28. We were able to attend some activities as well such as badminton and FHEs.
Hope everyone is doing well and I'll see y'all next week:)

Family week in the Philippines--a huge week long celebration
From the Philippines Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint website:
"The National Family Week has been observed annually since 1992 after the signing of Proclamation 60 by President Fidel V. Ramos, which declares every last week of September as 'Family Week'. This declaration is in accordance with the Philippines Constitution, which affirms that “the state recognizes the Filipino family as the foundation of the nation.” The Church remains at the forefront since 1992 in supporting this proclamation."
Was visiting with a family and left place on time. Family commented that other missionaries stay way too long and waste time there.
Swept chapel floor--Relief Society sisters were grateful for his and Elder Terminez' help
Will attend Ward FHE tonight
Saturday will help with the parade for family week
Thinking about that people will find what they are looking for
"Thinking about doing what I'm doing to improve, having lasting skills for life."
Woke up at 5:30 to do laundry and listen to conference talks
Going out of comfort zone to build skills that will be long lasting well after the mission, and for life
