Week 3 MTC

Hii guys it's cal here back with another email

This last week was our last week of gospel lessons and we just started language yesterday. Its been perty hard but its nice not having to practice teaching people all the time in a classroom, I'd rather do it in person. The foods been really good which Is something I'm definitely looking forward to in the field. 

We had chicken Feet this week which was good. Not really they were gross. They told us to deglove the fingers to to eat them but a finger got ripped off when I pulled the hand out of my mouth so that was icky. When I spit it out I was showing my zone leader it and not knowing it was in my mouth, he grabbed it and put it in his own and proceeded to eat all the meat on it. Then I told him it was in my mouth so he got up and chugged 3 cups of water or something, he almost threw up. And so did I, those soggy chicken grippers were creepy man, or women or whoever's reading this. 

I bought some rations that will hopefully last me the week or a day who knows. Learning Cebuano has been pretty difficult yesterday so I think I'll just try again next year or if I'll ever even use it lol. 

I was grinding at ping pong today which was pretty sickkk and while I was playing, an entire group of Muslim tourists walked in and 3 different guys challenged me to ping pong and I beat them all like a champ. My District is fun. Expect for the times when I have to sing. Whenever I slip up and say a Spanish word they make me sing. 

Our roomies are moving out so hopefully the new greeny beanies coming tomorrow are fun. The sunsets are pretty here. Tho I haven't seen a sunset here yet but I've seen the sky at that time and it's real cool lookin. I'm always learnin somethin spiritual here and can always feel the spirit. 

I got destroyed during basketball which was a really humbling experience, it was still fun though. Here's a scripture that I read that I thought was good, so in Ezekiel 36:26-27 it says, " 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them." 

I thought that was really good because it just shows that God can really change us if we are willing. And y'all should listen to Brad Wilcox's talk called "His Grace Is Sufficient " it's really good, even if you have already listened to it you should again!
