Week 98
D&C 128:22 "Shall we not go on in so great a cause?"
Hey everyone! We had such a great week full of miracles! Its hard to put into words how amazing this work is. The work of God, just as music and the dancing steps to it. The dancing looks awkward and is really hard and uncomfortable to follow without the music! But once we hear the music the dancing is a joy. I have followed the steps of the gospel all my life, but now after everything I have experienced I have really come to hear the music of the gospel, which is the joy and blessings and hope that comes from following Christ.
We had exchanges this week which led us to traveling a lot. So I had a lot of time to think and read. Something I was thinking of is how God is real, and not just a God but a loving father in heaven. We literally have nothing to fear, as He said to a revelation given to Joseph Smith as recorded in D&C section 6 in the 36th verse, "Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not."
Not just a commandment but an amazing reality--He loves us so much. I've noticed the first principle we share to others is about how God is our Loving Heavenly Father. What an amazing, most important truth. Without God's love nothing we share is important or really means anything. So it is with us, nothing WE do is important or means anything without having love first. As it says in the Book of Mormon in the 46th verse of Mormon, chapter 7, "..if ye have not charity, ye are nothing,.." As stated here charity is the Pure Love of Christ.
I hope you all will be able to pray the the Niog family, they are awesome, they just need some encouragement. And especially your prayers!
D&C 128:22 "Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not backward. Courage, brethren; and on, on to the victory! Let your hearts rejoice, and be exceedingly glad. Let the earth break forth into singing. Let the dead speak forth anthems of eternal praise to the King Immanuel, who hath ordained, before the world was, that which would enable us to redeem them out of their prison; for the prisoners shall go free."
Hope you all have a great week.
With Love, Elder Robertson
