Week 91
Happy are we, malipay ta
Hello Everybody! Today has been great and sadly uneventful. We had a great meeting and learned about family history and how we can use it to help people come unto Christ as well! This week we found many great people and had Zone Conference where I was able to see many friends in the mission. We also had interviews which were really great! And I am really striving to be better and take president's counsel to me to heart. I am really happy for the work and responsibilities I have that I can grow always. The Lord puts all His effort in for us, even all and more! I imagine that Christ could have done the atonement and then just rest. But He continued and continues to lead and guide us perfectly.
Jacob 5:47 "But what could I have done more in my vineyard? Have I slackened mine hand, that I have not nourished it? Nay, I have nourished it, and I have digged about it, and I have pruned it, and I have dunged it; and I have stretched forth mine hand almost all the day long,.."
Hymn #250
"We are all enlisted till the conflict is o’er; Happy are we! Happy are we! Soldiers in the army, there’s a bright crown in store; We shall win and wear it by and by. Haste to the battle, quick to the field; Truth is our helmet, buckler, and shield. Stand by our colors; proudly they wave! We’re joyfully, joyfully marching to our home. We are all enlisted till the conflict is o’er; Happy are we! Happy are we! Soldiers in the army, there’s a bright crown in store; We shall win and wear it by and by."
I feel a lot of inspiration coming to mind of how I might improve and live up to my duty and responsibility as a child of God. And how we can better show Christ what His great atonement means to us! I hope these 2 sections of scripture and hymn will help you in your desire to draw closer to Him.
We ate some balot this week and pig face. Very delicious. Hope you all have a great week and eat more exciting food than I eat!
