Week 85

 Nakabangga mi😦

Hello family! This week was great and we were able to find and teach many of God's Children! Please pray for the Humok family. We really hope they can continue to follow Christ's invitations to them. We will teach them tomorrow.

Today we played basketball and bought many random things (food). One thing was a jelly drink and the bottle was in the shape of a fish. It wasn't good though. Then we had a friend that we visited come to basketball! Ivan. We then played this card game with our neighbors and then Settler of Catan with our branch president, president gordon! Probably my favorite branch president so far. 

We were able to eat some coconuts and also go very far. It rained all week every day, non stop so we bought boots for the mud. On the way home in the dark and rain Elder Richeson fell off his bike! He's okay though, it was a miracle that he didn't break anything and now his wounds are basically completely healed! He healed so fast! We then went to the beach and just sat there for an hour. 

How blessed am I, that God has allowed me to take part in His greatest work ever! I feel His love so much everyday and literally contemplate Him and His plan always. This life right now on earth will be the hardest part of all eternity for everyone! This world is truly a place where God's are made. So wherever you are so far on this Journey, whether still feel new or long time follower of Christ, or just want to be good, our Heavenly father is very proud of you and how far you've come. And He is so excited to see you take your first steps, to eternity with Him and your family and future family. To be honest I bet He loves to and is excited to watch you take EVERY step. And not just watch, but lead you, guide you, and walk beside you. Every hour. 

Love you all and I hope you will all strive to feel Heavenly Father's love for yourself. How can we feel someone's love that we don't know? John 17:3... amping kanunay!

Ayos lang ko, caso lang, medyo masakit ang katawhan ko.  Kay nabaskit mi sa umaga   Hi there! It's me Elder Robertson here again. We played a lot of basketball earlier with some of our friends for about 2 hours! I wish I listened to my track Coach Mathias about stretching. I can definitely count on one hand how many times I've stretched these past 2 years, and now I'm sore everywhere haha! I have a goal now to stretch once a week. If I can remember and if that even makes a difference.  We ate with the other Elders, we all bought sisig, (the pig face that you chop up and sizzle in a pan). I will cook this when I get home for anyone that wants!  We did so much this week that I can barely remember it all. But it was awesome. We achieved our goals. Which saying that outloud makes this missionary work sound like some business. Well it's the business of God. Week 99

Ang huling email ko, tapos na ang misyon ko duon sa filipinas, pero hindi pa sa aking buhay. Hello everyone! This one is a little late because I didn't have a phone Monday. This one will be my last week writing or second to last. I am Home! Already released as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On Sunday President and Sister Martinez came to our branch and I gave a last talk. They took us to Tacloban afterwards. Then I worked in Tacloban the rest of the day.  We did departing activities Monday then Tuesday we left to Manila. We were able to meet up with a past companion in Manila, Elder Valencia, or brother, and eat out with him in the Mall of Asia. Then Wednesday morning we woke up at 3:30 am and left to the airport and flew out to San Francisco, 13 hours, then after arriving in the US we had a 4 hour layover and said goodbye to all my batchmates, then another 5 ½ hours to Dulles Washington DC, then I saw my family!  I felt so sick and...

Week 92

Election day para sa mga candidato! Kinsa modaog? Ambot.   Hi family! And friends! I am stuck in the house right now. It's election day and to be safe we aren't allowed to leave the apartment. I've scrubbed my clothes and they are soaking now, I'll hang them to dry soon. I took a refreshing bucket shower this morning and then we ate some pancakes which I made. We had a meeting earlier about helping members and being diligent! I got a little video clip that hopefully you can watch about Joseph smith, "this should be our finest work.. nothing but the best for the Lord". I often wonder what I can do more or how I can increase my capacity to help others. One way I found is in Mosiah 2-4...all of his sermon is to teach people to do one thing.. "..that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sins from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God.." [Mosiah 4:26]. Achieving this is not a singular decision but rather a decision we have to make...
