Week 79

 Halo halo

Hello brothers and sisters! This week was full of Miracles! We found many people that wanted to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. And we got to go to zone conference with Elder Wong of the Seventy joining us, just like the 70 back in Jesus' time, I am grateful He has called seventy for our day as well. Elder Wong is also part of the presidency of Philippines area. He taught many important principles and we are now going to apply everything we learned! Especially making treats and then putting notes on them saying how we miss the people that haven't come to church in a while. We really want them to feel our love for them and also so they will feel more importantly God's love. He also promised a sister that she could have 30 baptisms before she went home in the 5 months she has left. I am excited because I turned to my companion when he said that to her and said, I have 5 months left, I'm doing that too. And so we are doing everything we can to find and teach and help others come to and come closer with Jesus Christ. We are so blessed that we can choose eternal life for ourselves or sadness if we want, which is sadly what people choose. Just as Alma says in alma 29:5...

5 Yea, and I know that good and evil have come before all men; he that knoweth not good from evil is blameless; but he that knoweth good and evil, to him it is given according to his desires, whether he desireth good or evil, life or death, joy or remorse of conscience.

We got to teach a lady, Sister Alma, that had been coming to church, then missed last Sunday church because of work. During work she felt she didn't have the same spirit with her and felt super tired from work. She decided to quit her job so she could continue to come to church. I really felt I could be better at this as I thought how many little things do I put above the Lord sometimes without noticing. Love you all and hope the Lord will always be first.
