Week 57
I Hatag og hotdog
Hey guys, my mga brother and mga sister. I'm doing great.
We have had a good week full of great spiritually enriching experiences. We are teaching this lady, Madeline, that was asking how she can find the true church. We told her that she could know if she had faith in Jesus Christ and prayed about the message we shared. And that God would answer her prayer through the power of the Holy Ghost, which testifies of all truth. After the lesson we asked her to say the prayer and in the prayer she asked that she would be able to know the truth, instantly we all felt the spirit. She barely made it to the end of the prayer because of it and she was crying.
There are many people that know the Gospel is true. Christ lives. He leads and guides us today...but sometimes there's an untrue background thought that excludes us from receiving the blessings from this. But as Mormon said, have miracles ceased? Has God stopped speaking to his Children? No, He Loves us as he always has, with undying, everlasting love. We can always receive His blessings when we choose the accept them. Or follow Him.
This week was good tho. We ate some squid, milk fish, and chicken. And empalaya--super bitter cucumber looking thing. But I'm pinoy now so I EAT. Yummy yum. And lots of coke. I don't buy it, but I've drank soda every day this past week from people always giving it.
We had an FHE today and also DCM (District Counsel Meeting). Which we'll try to make shorter. We met a guy that attempted murder... and a guy that actually did murder someone. He was hired to kill a guy from some government people, for 250,000 pesos, which is sad to think anyone would even think of ruining their soul for anything.
Right now I'm in Ipil, Ormoc city. By the dyka, I can even see the dagat from my house. Luv u guys, amping mo pirme!
