Week 40

 Thoughts & Socks

Morning everyone! Hope y'all are doin' well. We just had zone conference yesterday, and was great to be with other missionaries there. We got to go to a the 3rd floor again except with the mission president. And the APs, so that's been fun. The mission president showed us a magic trick too, when he came to our apartment. 

Don't have any crazy stories--just working hard and trying to be better. We're trying to visit our new people and especially recently baptized because they need to be nurtured more and keep learning about God's love. Especially through the members. 

I've been trying to think Celestially every day and every hour through garnishing my thoughts with Christ. I've learned in the scriptures when Christ says He shows men their weakness, that they may be made strong through Him. And for me I feel he says it in the same way He talks about personal revelation. So really this is a form of revelation for reevaluation 

So through study and prayer we need to seek out our imperfections, our weakness, and God will show them to us. But not just that, He will show us a way to improve, to turn our weaknesses into strengths through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The same way our sins and sorrow can become joy and peace. So in conclusion seek reevaluation through reevaluation. I've been working on it recently and it's been challenging and uncomfortable sometimes but discomfort is the natural man against Christ's Glory. And it's not wrong to feel that uncomfort. But it is to stay that way, so let's all seek out one thing this week that we can change, and slowly perfect our tabernacle of clay to be a pillar in the temple of our God.
