Parables

Sup guysss

Imma really try to add more gospel messages I've learned because I'm really enjoying my studies and I learn so much so i figure I can share this stuff with you. I think the more I study the gospel, it really snowballs because I learn a lot of cool things which makes me want to study even more so I can gain as much knowledge as possible to help these people. I feel the more I learn, the more I want to learn if that makes sense haha. 

I'm really trying hard now to be able lead the area effectively. I know I will be accomplish what the Lord wants, even any challenges, because the Lord gives no commandments to us save He prepares a way. I like how HIS way is prepared so if we follow Him we will be doing an organized beautiful work because it was a plan that God made.

So that's my sermon today. 

Nuthin too different going on, even tho I say that every week. So I guess there's always somethin a little different. We went proselyting with the AP elders and all 4 of us fit on a Tricycle.  If you've watched studio c it kinda reminds me now of 2 guys riding a scooter but the part where it's 5 guys haha. Also a tricycle is a motorcycle with an extended thing to hold like 1-2 people. And I thought 2 people could barely fit. But this time we fit 3 dudes inside the extension part and the driver on his seat and the other missionary sitting behind the driver dangling off the edge. 

We went to choir practice today and we weren't that good. I wish I learned how to play the piano... oh wait. Haha yeah, I had the privilege to learn to play ever since 4th grade and now I only really know how to read the music.

Luckily I have cereal tho. I also saw fruity pebbles with marshmallows in it today at the mall which looked so good but it was really expensive so i stuck to the frosted flakes. Except they're called frosties here which is different. The leaves in Virginia are looking really pretty. And Elder Dick here is a G. He's got my back and has helped me a lot adjusting to this place. I also made this parable that I think is pretty good. Well actually 2. I like the second one but let me know which one is better...

Parable 1 - Ned the Shower Head

Ned was a shower head. He liked to live in the shower because that was the only thing he knew. He liked to shoot water at people sometimes. And that's what Ned did everyday. One day Jesus asked Ned, "hey Ned, you want to come to the store with me?" And Ned said, "no, I'll just stay here."

So in conclusion we need to have faith unto repentance and be baptized and endure to the end. 

And the title rhymes :) so that's gotta be extra points or somethin right?

Parable 2 - The Ant and the Egg

There was a certain ant. And he saw an egg and was hungry. So he ate the egg. After he ate the egg, he saw there was actually another egg inside the egg he just ate. When he touched this second inner egg with curiosity it suddenly cracked open and inside was a sugary raisin bran cereal raisin. It smelled so delicious to the ant but he could not partake for he was full of eating an entire egg.

In conclusion we must feast on the sugary raisin bran cereal raisins that life has to offer and not fill our lives with bland things of no importance or in this case the egg.

So yeah I'm pretty proud of my parables. Hopefully you guys liked them or gave you inspiration. That's all I got for tonight I think. Just my thoughts and inspiration for you, not too many crazy stories. Hope you have a good week and hope you guys are doin' good and have fun and study the scriptures! And the gospel of Jesus Christ!
