Week 14

Super Fancy hotel with free dinner and really rich host.. never going back again

Mornin' everybody or good afternoon wherever u are.

Today I went to downtown. And last p-day I actually got this different hair cut, a fade, just cuz a lot of missionaries had it so I had to try it out. Of course I've never had a fade before or like ever been to the barber. I think that was my 5th time ever going to a barber shop place, and it's only been on my mission. Yeah so when the dude said "0?" I hit him back with a classic foreigner move and said, "uhhh". But luckily a cabahay (roommate dude) was there also getting a hair cut and was getting a fade and said said "yes, 0 fade". Basically long story short I'm bald on the sides of my head. It doesn't look bad really, I just had to get used to it. But also a senior couple missionary said luckily the difference between a bad hair cut and a good one is only 2 weeks. So ya that's true. And yeah, he told me it looked bad so that was kinda funny. 

We got a pet cat too; I named him midget. I've got to hang out with more missionaries this past week which has been fun. And the AP'S cuz they're in our ward. We've had some good teachings this week. Elder Zaragosa is my favorite trainer I've ever had too.

 

We visited this brother today for dinner at this really fancy hotel and of course everything is free because he owns like a big share of the hotel. Anyways, so I sat by him and he talked to me a bunch but there was a lot I didn't understand. But I understood his English and he said some wild stuff. He's also turning 66 tomorrow and invited us back for his birthday but I don't think we're gonna go. He said a bunch of wild stuff so imma only gonna say the kid friendly things. So first he was telling me this story about this prince he raised or something? Who knows, anyways it went something like this. 14 year old Prince said to abago (the host guy telling the story), "sir, why is there hair on my chest?" Abago said "because ur a man." Then prince said "sir, what is a man?"  Abago said "a man makes babies, but ur too young for that" and some other random things too that were super suggestive. He called me a baby boy because I look fresh and (other stuff i shouldn't write). He told my companion, "take your baby boy home and (other things i shouldn't say)". 

Then he was talking to me about how after we eat he wants to show me around the hotel and go up the elevator and go and do a sing along party thing and then he can introduce me to this women and "super suggestive things" like bro.. what the flip. It was pretty weird but kinda funny. He's also likes saying how he's a virgin and he's really proud of it too.. at 66, like wow. Ig that's something different. He also was saying how he wants to adopt me. I mean what more could you want? A super rich creepy hotel dad with free fancy meals everyday, personal drivers, room service 24/7, and apparently access to his contacts of many hotel chicks. Yup, I'd rather stick to preaching the gospel. He was also talking about the prophet Muhammed? Not sure. Anyways it's been different haha. 

Hope y'all are doing well and remember to stay focused. Its really easy to get distracted these days. Think celestial. You get to choose where you go after life, what body u will receive, and even which people you will live with forever. And you make that decision everyday, and everyday you tell God what you want, not through speech but through your actions. Basically president Nelson's last talk. 

Also I like this song called "more than words". It basically talks about what I just said. Sorry this email is late. I wrote it late and couldn't send it until today, ig Tuesday for me. Stuff is going good. I didn't have time to buy food this week cuz of The Dinner. Or to buy anything else really important like Spinners ice cream. And scripture marker tabs and other stuff this week like I lost my umbrella, and water bottle, and my sweat rag thing. But it's been a good week in general. Also sorry it's so long, but this email is actually so juicy. So hopefully you were able to read it all tho, ig if you're reading this you did!
