Week 80

Mga kapait sa pananampalataya! Patuloy pamamagitan sa inyo mga sulay at sa Dios mag bahala sa inyo!

Hello everybody! I have learned so much this week. I wish you all could be here with me learning all the things I'm learning too! I realize now why people say it's the best and the hardest, and why people grow much on the mission. To be honest, sadly, I know now the mission doesn't change me or anyone, no one or thing can change me. But I have the responsibility to change myself. The mission just thrives with and abundantly gives so many Opportunities to Grow and Change to become like our Savior! I heard earlier "don't die like a man, live like a decent person". Or in other words, don't just be willing to die for Christ's sake. Be even stronger and LIVE FOR CHRIST's sake. I love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is truly His kingdom on earth. Nothing in this world will last except our efforts to Build up the Lords Kingdom here on Earth! I would like to share some revelation from our Living Prophet...

"My dear brothers and sisters, in a coming day, Jesus Christ will return to the earth as the millennial Messiah. So today I call upon you to rededicate your lives to Jesus Christ. I call upon you to help gather scattered Israel and to prepare the world for the Second Coming of the Lord. I call upon you to talk of Christ, testify of Christ, have faith in Christ, and rejoice in Christ! Come unto Christ and “offer your whole [soul]” to Him. This is the secret to a life of joy!"

Following this council we will really have joy! Here is another thing President Russell Nelson has shared that I like:

"I bear my solemn witness that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I am His disciple. I am honored to be His servant. At His Second Coming, “the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.” That day will be filled with joy for the righteous!"

I feel the same way and am proud to bear witness as well that I am His disciple and am so honored to be His servant! Hopefully we all will feel the joy of Christ when we see Him again!

More week updates... I got sick and threw up one night. I'm better now though. We went to a burial for the RS president's mom. They broke open a cement grave box that someone didn't pay the rent on and put the RS president's mom insides along with the bones of the previous person inside then box. Then they sealed it again. Not sure how your supposed to pay the rent when your dead though haha.

Then we had a Valentine's Day party/activity. I got to bake chocolate chip cookies for the whole branch! It was really fun to see everyone eat the cookies that I grew up with! 😁 Thanks Mom!

We are teaching a great family, the Mateos. They will be baptized soon! Please pray for them... Arnold, Jerasil, Jessica, Efrilen, Cilin, Alma, Arjon, Bhibes Kie, Arvee. Thank you! Ingat kayo palagi!

The burial. We had to climb over grave boxes to get to this site.  Then they made the cement right there to seal up the burial box.
