Week 75

Init kaayo suod sa akon tyan

Hello Everybody! This week has been amazing, even more miracles than the last. We went on exchanges and were able to have a great study and also have the spirit strong with us. As we came to our first appointment the brother didn't want to be taught, be as we talked we said if we could share our testimony. He agreed and we were able to feel the Holy Spirit there. We told him what he was feeling and then he opened up to say that he has felt this feeling before at church. When he attended before.

Then came a lady on the street selling random things for cooking and we were able to share about The Book of Mormon to her and our testimonies. Again the Spirit was there and we told her what this Joy she was feeling.. it was the spirit of God testifying to her that what we said was truth.

Then to our next appointment we had a first lesson with a guy that came to church and started reading The Book of Mormon. He said he had anxiety and depression, he used to do push ups to help him. But he said when he read from The Book of Mormon his anxiety and depression went away. He felt peace and happiness. During the lesson just like the last 2, the spirit was there, and he accepted an invitation to be baptized.

As we were contemplating God's goodness and love of what we experienced we decided that why not? With that spirit with us, let's work earlier in the morning before we have to end our exchanges. We ended up going to a family they were teaching and just as the past day, really really felt the Spirit and we extended another invitation to this family to be baptized, they said yes. Then many other miracles! God truly uses the weak and simple to even pronounce the greatest and most sacred message to all. This is how our Heavenly Father shows his Love,.. "which sheddeth itself abroad among the children of men"... how? Through US! As hymn 335 says...

Brightly beams our Father’s mercy from his lighthouse evermore, But to us he gives the keeping Of the lights along the shore. Let the lower lights be burning; Send a gleam across the wave. Some poor fainting, struggling seaman You may rescue, you may save.

Then after we have done all we have to bless others we realize....(hymn 29, verse 7)

Then in a moment to my view The stranger started from disguise. The tokens in his hands I knew; The Savior stood before mine eyes. He spake, and my poor name he named, “Of me thou hast not been ashamed. These deeds shall thy memorial be; Fear not, thou didst them unto me.”

We ate at a restaurant with a spicy challenge that made me throw up. Probably the worst experience on my mission.

But good luck everyone and have a great day.
Love you All!
