Week 44

Bobon

Maupay na buntag sa inyong lahat! No one actually uses that phrase here, N just wanted to use 3 languages in one sentence.:)  Super busy here in the Philippines as always. We went to Missionary Leadership Council this week on Tuesday hangtud Thursday. So that was fun to see all the other missionaries there and learn more on how to be a leader. I feel like there's kind of a difference between worldly leaders and leaders in the Church. Worldly leaders most of the time have glory pointed towards them; leaders in Christ's church of course point all glory to the Lord. We are all helping each other come closer to him. We can't be saved through famous people, sports, games, cellphones, not even what ever it is you spend your time in. This is why we must put all our effort, time, opportunity to Jesus Christ, and His Kingdom.

Mosiah 3:17

Cool random verses from 2 Nephi 32:10-11

First time I think I've put scriptures in my email. I actually had them written out but decided to put the references na lang kay. I want y'all to find and study these things on your own. :) The Lord loves effort! So I should really put the scripture quotes in secret code so y'all get to put extra effort into decoding to find the scriptures. Mabye you'll have more blessings that way haha. We had a bon fire last night too at the dagat. It was really relaxing actually. Except for after the fact when we had to go to bed with no electricity and a fever. Worst night of my mission for sure. We have Zone council meeting tomorrow and me and my comp are giving a training. So gotta prepare for that still. I'll try and send some more pictures later but for now, kitakits sa sunod!

Thorn: Being sick
Rose: Mission Leadership Conference or MLC
Bud: See what pday brings and missionary work this coming week

Got to see the beach in new area, a white sandy beach. Was sick through the night, took medicine with some food and said a prayer.  Felt much better in the morning.  Played basketball the morning of pday. Nine interested friends
were at church Sunday. Saw Elder Phillips.
