Ang huling email ko, tapos na ang misyon ko duon sa filipinas, pero hindi pa sa aking buhay. Hello everyone! This one is a little late because I didn't have a phone Monday. This one will be my last week writing or second to last. I am Home! Already released as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On Sunday President and Sister Martinez came to our branch and I gave a last talk. They took us to Tacloban afterwards. Then I worked in Tacloban the rest of the day.  We did departing activities Monday then Tuesday we left to Manila. We were able to meet up with a past companion in Manila, Elder Valencia, or brother, and eat out with him in the Mall of Asia. Then Wednesday morning we woke up at 3:30 am and left to the airport and flew out to San Francisco, 13 hours, then after arriving in the US we had a 4 hour layover and said goodbye to all my batchmates, then another 5 ½ hours to Dulles Washington DC, then I saw my family!  I felt so sick and...

Week 7

First Week in the Field! Hello from the Philippines! It's definitely been a long couple days and probably sweat more these past 3 days then I did in a year back home. I already love the people here tho! Just wish I could talk to them, which will take time. Even with the MTC, we learned Cebuano for 6 weeks but here they all speak Waray-Waray.  The kids here are fun. The ward is really nice. The apartment is pretty sweet, the elders here say it's the nicest missionary apartment in the mission, I guess I'm being spoiled a bit. My companion is super chill and fun. He's great at helping me with the language so far! We have a rat too that chewed through one of our cables for our rice cooker, ya so we're gonna catch him and fry 'em up nice and good. Mm mm mm.  There's also ants everywhere a couple of them lil stinkers were actually crawling on me as I wrote this and I've probably ate a bunch without knowing by now. This week was so sick! There was so many people that accepted to be baptized and it's so narly to see people accept the gospel of Jesus Christ.  I've been chilling today and we cleaned the apartment. The other American Elder here is leaving today which is sad and a Canadian Elder is replacing him. His name is Elder Dick.  I found these sick shoes that I might buy, probably not tho, who knows.  We had this drunk dude come up to us and tell us about a lot of stuff and how he really wants to get taught and trusted us enough in his drunkenness to tell us some personal info and gave us his account to messenger, like, my guy.
